  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
It's been a minute since I went bass fishing but I'm back in town cus of Irma this week and got to chase some largemouths with a friend on a private lake. Caught a ton of little bass under a pound and I caught 3 that broke 2 lbs, this being one of them. It was a small, deep and very clear pond, and most of the bass were still in the deep parts cus of the hot weather.
    Bait:
Green pumpkin curl tail worm on a 1/8th ounce Texas rig
  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
Went out early Sunday morning to the golf course by my house and it turned into a topwater slam fest pretty quickly. Got into the double didgits on bass; they were busting shad and minnows everywhere and even schooling up on schools of baitfish in a couple of spots. This one came off a thick weed line and hit the spook as soon as it hit the water
    Bait:
    Red and white spook
  • White Crappie
    Description:
Fished towne lake and the creek that runs beside it hoping for crappie but only caught this little one and a bunch of bluegill. Think they were out deep
    Bait:
1/16 oz jig head with red and chartreuse tube 6-18 inches under a float
  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
75 and overcast when I hooked up to this beaut today. She hit the line hard and put up a 5 minute fight! Glad I could finally reel her in safely on my Shakespeare.
    Bait:
    Yum Dinger
  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
Got the kayak out yesterday for some early morning fishing at a local pond. Threw the frog over a bunch of grass and moss in the early morning and picked up 2 nice bass while losing two others, and then once the sun came up I went down the banks in some deeper water throwing a chatter bait, catching 3 more. Great day on the water!
    Bait:
    Black Booyah Poppin' pad crasher
  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
Despite he post-cold front conditions we had this evening, the bass were munching on topwaters, as you can tell by the frog halfway down this guy's gut! Caught 4 bass on the frog after the sun went down tonight in 60 degree weather. Got a lot of rain this morning, but had relatively good water clarity, and no wind once the sun went down.
    Bait:
Small booyah black hollow bodied frog

  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
Doin some sight fishing tonight and pulled this one off the bed on a chatterbait. This is normally not my bedfishing bait of choice but I blew up my other reel and the only other rod my friend and I had was a chatterbait rod with 50lb braid, so I made do and after about 20 minutes I managed to get this one to hit. Clear water, 80 degrees, the fish were super finicky but if you made em mad they hit
    Bait:
Black and blue chatterbait with 5 inch white split tail grub trailer
  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
Finally got the chance to get out and do some spawn fishing tonight, and I managed to pull 5 bass off of beds. This was the kicker, a fat pre-spawn female. The fish are officially up on beds in most bodies of water up here , and it didn't take any of these bass long to attack the lure once they noticed it.
    Bait:
1/8th ounce green finesse jig with half of a pumpkinseed pit boss as the trailer
