  • Common Carp
    Description:
New PB Common Carp! Got to the pond aroun 9:00AM and chummed the water. Fished over an hour with no bites and realed one rod in to rebait. Turned my back for a second and looked back around to see my rod arched over hard to the right. After twenty minutes I muscled her up the bank, got a quick video, and sat her back in the water to swim off strong! My guess would be a definite +15lbs.
    Bait:
Sweet corn for chum and a honey mixed bread ball on a 2/0 VMC circle hook
  • Longear Sunfish
    Description:
I did very well at my creek this time around. Landed four bass, +10 green sunfish, three bluegill, and three longears all on the crickhopper! Casting up into pockets, shallow delta areas, and running water produced the majority of fish. I've always loved how exotic these longears look as North American fish.
    Bait:
Rebel Crickhopper Color: black cricket (I've found this pattern works particularly well in the afternoon when it becomes slightly darker and/or cloudy)
  • Common Carp
    Bait:
    corn
  • Snake
    Description:
Found this healthy Diamondback Water Snake sunning itself while out doing a little afternoon fishing. I climbed down a steep ledge and got within 1-2ft of him to get this pic and a couple others. Love seeing these guys, so docile and not the least bit camera shy. Watched him for a few minutes and went on my way.
    Bait:
A big boulder on a warm day in the sun
  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
Great shot of a nice sized creek bass. Casted out over a drop off and reeled back in toward the shallows when it bit bit half way back. They can't resists Rebel craws! Go find any type of creek near you. They are an easy, fun, and reliable place to consistently catch fish and always offer up a few crazy surprises.
    Bait:
    Rebel Teeny Wee Craw
  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
One of my last sessions before returning back to college and ended up with this very nice creek bass. Casting straight out parallel to the bank with a receding water depth and got this guy shortly after it hit the water. Its such a pleasure to catch fish like this in such a small and disconnected portion of water. Going to the Sabine this weekend so be looking forward to some great pics.
    Bait:
    Rebel Teeny Wee Craw
  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
Incredibly nice bass for my local creek! First time using the slightly larger Rebel Wee Craw and of course it produces. Rediscovered a deep pool far back into the woods and casted straight down the center of it. She bit a quarter of the way back very lightly in 3fow. I've noticed a pattern of soft bites the last few trips so be aware. Can't wait to see this fish a year from now!
    Bait:
    Rebel Wee Crawfish (Nest Robber)
  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
The much more acceptable results of my fishing trip in the previous blert. Came upon on one of the larger pools of a creek and started casting towards the opposite bank in 3fow. Ran my craw and gill along the rocky bottom and got both of these brutes within 10 minutes of each other. These were incredibly nice bass for my creek making my first session in months an awesome one!
    Bait:
Rebel Teeny Wee Craw and Storm Blue Gill
  • Largemouth Bass
    Description:
I'm back baby and for the next solid month I'll be fishing hard! First fishing trip in months to my local creek and got some real lunkers haha. Casting parallel to the banks with a fast retrieve and got 8 of these hatchlings varying a few inches in length. Catching bass isn't as common as catching green sunfish so it was an interesting day. Many more pics to come!
    Bait:
    Rebel Teeny Wee Craw
  • Largemouth Bass
    Bait:
    Top water frog
  • Channel Catfish
    Bait:
liver. about to clean and eat him for lunch. would have threw him back. in if i knew i was only going to catch one..
  • Green Sunfish
    Description:
Got 8-9 decent green sunfish and a 1lb largemouth in less than a foot of water this morning. Got this green to test out a new "selfie stick" I was gifted haha. I can definitely see its potential for some cool applications in future outings. Side note, I need to stop flipping the bird when I hold fish.
    Bait:
Rebel Teeny Wee Craw and H20 shallow diving square bill (natural sunfish pattern)
