    post cold front, blue bird sky, water temp cooling off fast. always look forward to good bites in October around here as the water cools off and the bite turns on. caught 2 at the creek this afternoon with this one being the bigger of the two. also had a breakoff on a good one on my first cast and had to go home and retie...always tie a fresh knot lol

    so there have been massive swirling balls of baitfish for the last few weeks with big bass slamming them. ive seen fish get airborne hitting the baitfish...but havnt been able to connect...tried pop rs, spooks, flukes, swimbaits, jigs, tx rigs...i could catch fish, but not the big ones that were feeding on the bait...until today. caught this 2 pounder and a 4 pounder on a shakey head throwing it..

    switched it up a lil. fished earlier than normal and heavier than normal and it paid off with 2 nice ones and a lil one. good conditions partly cloudy, slight breeze, warm but not hot. creek is murky in some spots and crystal clear in other spots. all 3 fish came from the murk.

    fished the creek for a minute...got a nice lil bite on the tx rig...creek under pressure, saw at least 2 other people fishing. mater murky. ready for some cold fronts to start cooling the water a bit
